maed – master editorial design
I designed this bookazine together with Lea Szramek, Juliane Nöst and Janis Grewe as an ongoing group project for the masters editorial design at the Fachhochschule Dortmund.
The first edition of maed is about authorship in editorial design and filled with texts by fellow students, interviews with designers all over the world. We questioned ourselves about this specific design field and went on a search for the role of editorial designers in general, but also responsability and freedom in design.
In this bookazine you’ll find contributions by Erik Kessels, Viola Hildebrand-Schat, Jens Müller, Sabine an Huef and 16 students of the masters editorial design in Dortmund.
